The good thing about Brexiter Boris Johnson becoming PM, and all his Cabinet having to also be Brexiters is that, they (that's the die hard leavers and the vast majority of the conservative party) now own Brexit lock stock and barrel, its now nobody else's fault, if it all falls apart or even at best takes us 10 years to get where we already stand right now, its down to them, its their fault. Sit back and break out the popcorn. Boris will win as expected but my guess is hardly anyone expects him to be around for long. He appears to be tragic character that will take Britain to its nadir. Please can the BBC stop talking about the government slim majority. They do NOT have a majority, it is a minority government with a confidence and supply agreement, which has been broken on more than one occasion.

  This is what competent leadership looks like. Leaders that choose science-based facts over theories will always be successful. The's been hounded by the Murdoch and right-wing media (80% + media here) with some disgusting ploys and disinformation highly politicized this man has a skin of steel by the way America. The city of Melbourne in the state of Victoria in Australia is in full lockdown has been for a long time now. The city will die. Curfews 9pm till 5am. It’s a movie it’s silent. And the people are getting held hostage? People are not being held hostage, we can still get food, go-to essential work, exercise, and help people that need help. Curfew was needed because too many people were having illegal parties and spreading the virus. In another future pandemic maybe. People have already dug in over the evolution of the attempted mitigation up to now. Doing that would just cause more political volatility.
