The city of Melbourne in the state of Victoria in Australia is in full lockdown has been for a long time now. The city will die. Curfews 9pm till 5am. It’s a movie it’s silent. And the people are getting held hostage? People are not being held hostage, we can still get food, go-to essential work, exercise, and help people that need help. Curfew was needed because too many people were having illegal parties and spreading the virus. In another future pandemic maybe. People have already dug in over the evolution of the attempted mitigation up to now. Doing that would just cause more political volatility.
