Until the antivaxers decided to stop vaccinating their kids. Steve Simon, it's not as easy to achieve herd immunity as you and Doctor "the books" Cummings may believe. Viruses are fickle, they mutate and the antibodies they produce are often impermanent. This is the flu attacking you with a knife up his sleeve while you are tied to a tree. That is because Covid-19 spreads more easily and does more damage to the immune system if you succumb to it, as hundreds of thousands have discovered, including some young and otherwise healthy people.

So I stand by my comment. Completely agree and that's what's baffling the scientists, why some and not others. We're fortunate so much research is going on with this new virus. Fingers crossed the scientists will start to see clear fact-based evidence. Everything I’ve written factual. Please read it carefully, it’s not subjective. The fear-mongering part is theory and without evidence, however also, statistically impossible is a silly notion. Even if you were looking at a trillion to one odds, the chance is still there. these are not reinfections, they are reactivations. There’s a huge difference. I’m saddened that the media has you all misunderstanding this. Please read my other answers carefully. Who are you, sir? And what qualifies you to pronounce on this when the best of scientists are still learning about the behavior of this virus? Just asking for a friend.
