My point, however, is that the fear we are taught to live in, particularly as women, is disproportionate to the real danger. And it's bloody exhausting too. It's time we stop. Lesleyann Ismay I do that too, even growing up if my parents made me go outside at night they had to at least watch me from the window or door until I came back in safely. Even as an adult I make my fiance do that for me. Only at night, don't mind as much during the day. I also won't stay up by myself at night though. This innovative idea isn't claiming to tackle the root of the problem, and it's sad that services like this are required, but if it helps support vulnerable people stay safe then that's to be applauded.

  This is what competent leadership looks like. Leaders that choose science-based facts over theories will always be successful. The's been hounded by the Murdoch and right-wing media (80% + media here) with some disgusting ploys and disinformation highly politicized this man has a skin of steel by the way America. The city of Melbourne in the state of Victoria in Australia is in full lockdown has been for a long time now. The city will die. Curfews 9pm till 5am. It’s a movie it’s silent. And the people are getting held hostage? People are not being held hostage, we can still get food, go-to essential work, exercise, and help people that need help. Curfew was needed because too many people were having illegal parties and spreading the virus. In another future pandemic maybe. People have already dug in over the evolution of the attempted mitigation up to now. Doing that would just cause more political volatility.
