 Oh a heartfelt apology is completely acceptable but for the common folk it was £10k fines for arranging illegal raves and £1K for breaking lockdown rules! The man should be in a cell and made an example of just as the people who got publicity shamed during lockdown! Outrageous that he’s going to get away with this! Losing faith in this weak country! My mother was in a nursing home, she got covid. We couldn't visit her. Mum had dementia, she didn't know what was happening. When we finally got to see her, it was behind a screen, poor woman did not know what was happening. The last time I saw her, she held her arms up for a hug.

  This is what competent leadership looks like. Leaders that choose science-based facts over theories will always be successful. The's been hounded by the Murdoch and right-wing media (80% + media here) with some disgusting ploys and disinformation highly politicized this man has a skin of steel by the way America. The city of Melbourne in the state of Victoria in Australia is in full lockdown has been for a long time now. The city will die. Curfews 9pm till 5am. It’s a movie it’s silent. And the people are getting held hostage? People are not being held hostage, we can still get food, go-to essential work, exercise, and help people that need help. Curfew was needed because too many people were having illegal parties and spreading the virus. In another future pandemic maybe. People have already dug in over the evolution of the attempted mitigation up to now. Doing that would just cause more political volatility.
